KWAALITY (operated by Kwaality Beauty Hub) is a South African online marketplace that connects customers with independent beauty and grooming businesses — salons, barbers, nail studios, hair sellers and more. We provide the platform; the services themselves are delivered by the businesses listed on it.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your password confidential.
Customer accounts let you book services, buy on the Market and claim rewards. Business accounts let you list your establishment, take bookings, advertise and manage staff. Staff accounts are created through a business.
You must be at least 18 years old to register a business account.
A booking is an agreement between you and the business. KWAALITY facilitates the booking but is not a party to the service contract. Prices, durations and availability are set by each business.
Where a business requires a deposit or full prepayment by EFT, your booking is only confirmed once the business verifies your payment. Proof-of-payment uploads must be genuine; fraudulent uploads lead to account suspension.
New businesses receive a 60-day free trial. There are currently no activation fees and no monthly fees for business listings — listing and taking bookings on KWAALITY is free for now.
KWAALITY may introduce a monthly or once-off service fee in future. If we do, we will notify businesses in the app and by email a reasonable time before the fee takes effect, and no fee will be charged for a period already used for free.
Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, services, prices, operating hours and photos, and for honouring confirmed bookings.
Premium placement, advertisements and promotions are paid features; pricing is quoted before you commit.
Reviews, photos and community posts must be lawful, honest and respectful. We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, defamatory or infringes others' rights.
You keep ownership of content you upload, but grant KWAALITY a licence to display it on the platform for operating and promoting the marketplace.
Market listings are created by independent sellers. KWAALITY does not manufacture, stock or guarantee third-party products. Check listing details and seller ratings before paying.
You may not misuse the platform: no fraud, scraping, fake accounts, spam, interference with other users, or attempts to bypass payments or security controls.
KWAALITY provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act), we are not liable for the quality, safety or outcome of services or products provided by independent businesses and sellers, or for indirect losses.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, fail verification, or create risk for other users. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
